The SWAN 4MF AG is a professional drinking water filter cartridge designed for domestic and commercial applications, including water dispensers, office systems, catering and Ho.Re.Ca. installations.
The cartridge features innovative Pre-Coat technology, based on powdered activated carbon deposited on a membrane with a filtration rating of <0.5 µm. This technology effectively reduces suspended particles, chlorine and chlorine by-products, helping improve the taste and overall quality of drinking water.
Pre-Coat technology is particularly suitable for applications where water turbidity levels may quickly reduce the performance of traditional carbon block filters.
Silver Ion Technology (Ag⁺)
The SWAN 4MF AG cartridge contains silver ions (Ag⁺), providing a bacteriostatic effect that helps limit the growth of bacteria, moulds and other microorganisms inside the filter.
The release of silver ions is carefully controlled to provide effective bacteriostatic protection while maintaining suitability for drinking water applications.
Compatibility
The SWAN 4MF AG has been developed according to the Everpure® standard, maintaining the same shape and bayonet connection system.
It is compatible with all filter heads designed for Everpure® cartridges, including the Everpure 4DC model.
Installation and Use
For optimal performance, the SWAN 4MF AG cartridge must be installed in a vertical position.
Horizontal installation may cause air pockets inside the cartridge, potentially creating preferential water paths and reducing filtration efficiency.
The cartridge should be replaced according to the manufacturer's recommended replacement intervals, considering both operating time and treated water volume.
