Pure 30 water purifier TO series

The Pure 30 series TOUV water purifier is an apparatus capable of effective water refinement treatment. The systems are equipped with by-pass, so as to ensure the continuity of hydraulic flow even during short maintenance operations, the inlet and outlet in this case are on the same side.

The purification plant consists of 4 basic elements that are contained within the 3 Big Blue cups and a 48-watt UV sterilizer, the water will then follow this step:

1. Big Blue 20” 10 Micron sediment cartridge fine filtration and water clarification at the micrometer level
2. Big Blue 20” 10 Micron activated carbon cartridge fine filtration and water clarification at micrometer level water odor and taste improvement
3. Activated carbon cartridge Big Blue 20” 10 Micron fine filtration and water clarification at micrometer level water odor and taste improvement
4. 48 Watt UV sterilizer with irradiation dose at >300J/m² resulting in physical disinfection of water with UV light with elimination of any bacterial contamination

The Pure 30 series TOUV water purifier sterilizes and clarifies water but does not affect its composition characteristics. 

Usage

This particular device is mainly used on turbid water with suspended material and traces of bacterial contamination. In case you need to provide water sterilization of an entire apartment. For example, on spring or well water that has not previously received adequate treatment. They generally find their main application in country houses that do not receive water directly from aqueducts. The colored cups prevent the possible formation of algae if the filter is left in sunlight. 

Installation of water purifier

Our product is sold ready for installation, namely: 

• Connection to the water mains
• Connection to the electrical network

The sterilizer is sold inclusive of everything needed to be readily put into operation. 

CAUTION: The lamp, quartz, orings, cup opening wrench, Teflon roll and instruction manual are inside the Pure 30 head, open by unscrewing the two black side bolts and lift the head. Quartz and lamp should be inserted into the sterilizer; they travel disassembled for added safety in transport as they are very fragile.

How to know when it's time to change filters

One of the fundamental aspects of maintaining the equipment, so as to ensure its optimal operation is the regular change of filters. For this reason our system, has been equipped with a double pressure gauge to check the inlet and outlet pressure. The moment the (dynamic) outlet pressure of the water should significantly decrease, the filter will have to be changed. This of course is to be meant for the first two prefilters: the sediment filter and the granular carbon filter. The Big Blue activated carbon filter, on the other hand, needs to be replaced once every 12 months. 

The rest of the routine maintenance this machine needs is very simple. First of all, we recommend that before any maintenance is carried out, the manual valves be adjusted so that the system is bypassed and water supply is guaranteed even while the system is being serviced. This is a very simple procedure: it is sufficient to close the valve located at the inlet of the filter and at the outlet of the ultraviolet lamp. Leaving open only the valve located at the inlet of the system before the mechanical flowmeter. 

Spare parts Pure 30 water purifier TO series

• Replace the microfiltration cartridge every 6 months. (Big Blue 20” 10 Micron sediment cartridge)
• Replace carbon cartridges every 6 months. (Big Blue 20” 10 Micron carbon cartridge)
• Change the UV lamp approximately after one year of use (8-9000 h).
• Replace the o-ring seals every year.
• Clean the quartz sheath ( the frequency is variable and depends on the quality of the incoming water; a cloth soaked in vinegar is sufficient for cleaning).

CAUTION: It is recommended to chlorinate the water supply prior to installation of the system, in order to disinfect the pipes and avoid possible recontamination of the water during the passage, install after any cisterns.
